We're making app security simple enough for anyone to use
Security used to be a specialist's job. We believe every developer, indie founder, and product team should have access to clear, actionable security insights — without needing a dedicated security engineer on the team.
Why we built PrivacyReport
The explosion of AI-assisted coding tools — Copilot, Cursor, Replit, v0 — has made it possible for anyone to build a production app in a weekend. That's genuinely exciting. But it's also created a new class of problem: apps being shipped faster than the security knowledge needed to protect them.
We built PrivacyReport to close that gap. One URL. Thirty seconds. A clear, plain-English report that tells you exactly what's wrong and exactly how to fix it. No security degree required.
Every vulnerability we find is a potential breach we prevent. That's why we built this.
What we believe
These aren't corporate values written by a committee. They're the principles we actually make decisions by, every day.
Clarity over complexity
Security is complicated. Explaining it shouldn't be. Every report we generate is written to be understood by a developer in their first year — not a CISO with twenty years of experience.
Builders first
Our users are people who make things. We design every feature for the developer who is trying to ship, not for the enterprise compliance team filling out a spreadsheet.
Honest security
We only flag real issues. We don't inflate our finding counts to justify pricing, and we don't hide findings behind paywalls when they put your users at risk.
Accessible to all
Enterprise security tools cost thousands a month. We offer a free tier because the startup that can't afford a $10,000 security audit deserves good security too.
Our mission
Our mission is simple: no developer should ship an app with obvious security vulnerabilities just because they didn't know they existed.
The knowledge to build secure apps has always existed. What hasn't existed is a tool that makes that knowledge accessible, fast, and actionable for the millions of developers who are building things every single day — without a security team behind them.
That's what PrivacyReport is. We're a translation layer between the complexity of application security and the real-world constraints of people who are building products, not writing security policies.
